In Snuggleton, the moon peeked out and stars blinked hello. A little boy yawned, stretched, and slid on a fuzzy blue cape. 'Bedtime needs a helper,' he whispered, tiptoeing past glowing windows.

His hero name was Captain Sleepy! He guarded good nights, wore soft slippers, and carried a bright flashlight. Sir Snore-a-Lot, his squeaky teddy, bounced beside him, ready to fight yawns with smiles.

Each evening they walked quiet streets, checking teeth, lights, and hugs. When kids followed routines, dreams came quickly. If trouble stirred, Captain Sleepy shone his light and hummed a soothing lullaby.

Tonight felt different. House lights blazed, toothbrushes lay dry, and giggles popped like popcorn. Captain Sleepy frowned. 'Uh-oh, the Bedtime Bandits are sneaking around again,' he told his bear.

There were three sneaky Bandits. First came Tickle Monster, with ten wiggly fingers that made kids laugh and wriggle instead of shut their eyes. He loved hiding under blankets to start silly giggle storms.

Next zipped Toothbrush Dodger. She grabbed every brush she saw and swapped it for sticky candy canes. Without brushing, teeth felt fuzzy, and kids delayed bedtime while hunting for their missing tools.

Last was Screeny, a glowing gremlin who yelled, 'One more show!' He poked tablets and TVs so bright colors flashed late into the night, keeping sleepy eyes wide when they should be gently closing.

Captain Sleepy took a deep breath. 'Routine powers, ACTIVATE!' he said. His cape puffed with stardust, and a bag of helpful tools jingled. It was time to tuck the Bandits into dreamland.

He tiptoed into Lucy's room. Tickle Monster wiggled beneath her sheets. Captain Sleepy blew a slow Yawn Bubble. Pop! Lucy's eyes drooped, and even the Monster snored softly, hugging a plush rabbit. One Bandit down!

In Max's bathroom, Toothbrush Dodger spun like a candy tornado. Captain Sleepy sprayed minty bubblegum mist. The smell was so fresh that Dodger grabbed a brush, scrubbed her teeth, and floated to sleep.

In Mia's room Screeny bounced on the tablet. Captain Sleepy clicked his Glowy Glow Nightlight. The gentle light dimmed the screen. Screeny yawned, whispered 'goodnight,' and fizzled away like a tiny spark.

Captain Sleepy handed Mia a picture book. 'Stories light up inside your head,' he said. Mia opened it, and colorful dreams fluttered around her pillows while Screeny's last glow faded outside.

Work done, Captain Sleepy hung up his cape, and Sir Snore-a-Lot flopped into their cloud-print bed. They hugged, closed their eyes, and let the same cozy night they protected wash over them.

Thanks to their bravery, giggles turned into dreams, teeth sparkled, and screens rested. Snuggleton snoozed in peace. Sleep tight, little hero. Captain Sleepy is always near to guard your bedtime.
