Arjun loved the sparkling sea. He was ten, with springy black hair and eyes full of wonder. In his beach town, children chased gulls and everyone called the ocean their oldest friend.

Page 2

Fish, salty breezes, and warm sand made the best playground ever. Yet Arjun loved adventure even more than mango ice cream or fast bike races. He always searched for the next big thrill.

Page 3

One sunny afternoon he tip-toed into Grandpa's dusty attic. Sunbeams danced on boxes while old boards squeaked like mice telling jokes. Cobwebs tickled his nose, but curiosity led him on.

Page 4

He dug past boxes marked TOYS and HATS until a faded blue notebook peeked out. 'Wow, what's this?' he whispered. A puff of dust exploded as he blew the cover clean.

Page 5

The title read 'The Fantastic Submarine.' Inside were scribbles and sketches showing how to build a real underwater boat! Arjun's heart thumped fast. 'Amazing!' he cheered.

Days flew by in a clatter of screws and clangs. Arjun hardly left his room. He tightened bolts, sorted gears, and worked with fierce focus, building part after shiny part.

Page 7

Helping him was Professor Pickle, a tiny monkey in huge goggles. From Arjun's shoulder he squeaked, 'Don't forget the propeller, Captain!' Arjun laughed and added it with care.

At last they pulled back a sheet. A gleaming silver submarine with bubble windows and blinking buttons waited proudly. 'We'll call you the Bubbly Barnacle!' Arjun announced.

They rolled the craft to the pier. With a brave wink Arjun pulled a lever. SPLASH! The Bubbly Barnacle slid into the water like a shiny fish, then dipped below the waving blue roof.

Undersea lights amazed them. Jewel fish zipped, jellyfish glowed, and coral towers swayed in rainbows. Dolphins twirled and tapped the hull. 'It's an underwater parade!' Pickle giggled.

The water grew dark as they dived deeper. Shadowy shapes drifted. THUMP! The sub rocked. Pickle squealed and hid. A huge round eye blinked at the window, calm and curious.

Page 12

It was Bertram the Whale, kind and wise. 'Sorry little friends, I didn't see you,' he rumbled. Arjun smiled, 'We're exploring, but it's gloomy down here.'

Page 13

Bertram sighed, 'The ocean feels sick. Coral is pale and trash floats everywhere.' Arjun sat tall. 'Then we must help!' Pickle posed like a hero. 'Let's gather the sea crew!'

Page 14

Dolphins, turtles, starfish, even shy octopuses joined. With shells and seaweed they made signs: 'Keep Our Ocean Clean!' Paint splattered everywhere as Pickle wagged his tail.

Next morning Bertram rose near the beach with Arjun and Pickle riding proudly. Sea animals held signs high. People gasped. Arjun shouted, 'Litter hurts the glowing world below!'

Page 16

He shared their adventure and Bertram's worry. Townsfolk listened, nodded, and some wiped tears. 'We'll keep beaches clean and protect the ocean,' they promised, clapping loudly.

That evening Arjun patted Bertram's fin. 'Thanks for the ride.' The whale chuckled. The Bubbly Barnacle bobbed gently as Pickle saluted their new sea friends under a pink sunset.

Arjun faced the wide water. 'I'll be back,' he whispered. Whenever the sea sparkled and adventure called, the brave boy, his monkey, and their bubbly sub would hurry toward the next splash.
