One sunny day, Carlos the Crow was flying over the green forest. He saw a yummy piece of bread on the ground.

Carlos quickly picked up the bread with his beak and flew to a nearby tree.

Carlos sat on a strong branch, ready to eat his tasty snack in peace.

Just then, Fiona the Fox walked by the tree. She smelled the yummy bread and wanted to eat it.

Fiona knew Carlos was smart, so she needed a plan to get the bread.

Fiona looked up and said, 'Carlos, I heard you have a lovely voice. Can you sing for me?'

Feeling proud, Carlos thought, 'This fox wants to hear me sing! I'll show her how good I am.'

Carlos forgot about the bread in his beak. He opened his mouth to sing, 'Caw, caw!'

As he started to sing, the bread fell to the ground. Fiona grabbed it and ate it quickly.
