Meet Eva and her teddy, Captain Fluff. This tale shows how courage and imagination help them enjoy Eva's very first airplane ride high above the clouds.

In a town of green hills and bright sunflowers lived Eva. She wore big glasses, a snack-filled blue backpack, and dreamed day and night of flying in a real airplane.

Eva pointed up and said, 'I bet clouds smell like marshmallows!' But she feared heights; even the playground slide made her knees shake and her tummy flutter.

One sunny morning Mom gave Eva shiny tickets to visit Grandma. 'We must fly above the clouds!' Mom smiled. Eva's tummy flipped like a pancake.

The airport buzzed with rolling suitcases and loud speakers. Eva hugged Captain Fluff and whispered, 'You're my co-pilot. Please help me be brave.'

The huge silver airplane waited. Eva's seat was by the window. A kind attendant asked, 'Ready to see the sky?' Eva peeked down at the tiny toy-sized town below.

'Ready for takeoff!' the captain boomed. Engines roared, wheels raced, and—whoosh!—the plane lifted. Eva squeezed Mom's hand and gasped, 'I'm really flying!'

High above, clouds looked like elephants, dinosaurs, and a rainbow dragon. 'Do clouds dream?' Eva asked. Mom laughed, 'Maybe they dream of kids like you.'

Smiling attendants served warm cookies and apple juice. Eva pretended Captain Fluff steered. 'Steady wings, Captain! We're entering Cloudyland!' she giggled.

Tiny bumps made the plane wiggle. 'Just sky giggles,' Mom said. Eva pictured riding a cloud pony and whispered, 'I am brave, I am flying.'

With a soft bump the plane landed and everyone clapped. Eva sat tall, eyes shining. 'I did it!' she cheered. 'I flew through the sky!'

Outside, Grandma waved a bright flowery umbrella. 'My sky girl!' she cried, hugging Eva tight. 'I brought marshmallows for your cloud report!'

That night Eva wrote, 'Clouds smell like adventure, and bravery feels like flying.' Lesson: You don't need wings to soar—just courage and imagination.
