One hot day, a thirsty crow flew over the fields looking for water. 'Oh dear, I need to find water soon!' he said.

Suddenly, the crow saw a water jug under a tree. 'Look! A jug! Maybe there's water inside,' he exclaimed.

He looked inside and saw a little water at the bottom. 'Yay!' he said, but the jug's neck was too narrow. He couldn't reach the water. 'Oh no! I can't reach it!'

He tried to tip the jug over, but it was too heavy. 'Come on, jug! Tip over!' he grunted. 'It's too heavy!'

He sat and thought. 'What can I do?' he wondered. Then he saw some pebbles on the ground. 'Maybe these pebbles can help!' he thought.

He picked up pebbles and dropped them into the jug. The water started to rise. 'It's working!' he cheered.

He kept adding pebbles until the water rose high enough. 'Now I can drink!' he said happily.

He drank the water. 'Yum! That was smart of me!' he said, feeling proud.

The crow was happy. He learned that if you keep trying, you can solve problems. Remember, kids, never give up!
