In a pond lived Terrence the turtle and Clara the crane. They were best friends. Terrence said, 'What a lovely day, Clara!' Clara replied, 'Yes! Let's find some food!'

One sunny day, there wasn't much food in the pond. Terrence and Clara were hungry. Clara pointed and said, 'Look, Terrence! There's a yummy fish!'

Terrence saw the fish too. He was hungry. Terrence said, 'Clara, let's catch it together and share!' Clara agreed, 'Great idea, Terrence!'

Clara, who was quick, swooped down and caught the fish with her beak. She said, 'I got it! This will be a yummy meal!'

But then Clara had a greedy thought. She flew to a tree, leaving Terrence behind. She thought, 'Why should I share this fish with Terrence?'

Clara started to eat the fish all alone. But as she took a bite, the fish slipped from her beak! Terrence shouted, 'Clara! Oh no, the fish fell!'

The fish fell into the pond with a splash and swam away. Clara said, 'I'm sorry, Terrence. I was greedy.'

Terrence smiled and forgave Clara. They learned that sharing is important. Terrence said, 'We're friends, sharing makes us happy.' Clara replied, 'Thank you, Terrence. Let's always share.'
