One sunny morning, Timmy Tiger woke up and gasped. His orange stripes were gone! Shiny pink and purple dots covered his fur. Timmy hurried into the jungle to find out what had happened.

Page 2

Timmy lived in a bright green jungle under a warm, golden sky. He was a playful cub with a loud little roar, a big smile, and many animal friends who loved to explore with him.

Each day Timmy stretched, splashed in the cool river, chased butterflies, and munched sweet mangoes. But this morning felt strange, like the jungle was whispering that something new was coming.

Timmy looked at his paws and blinked. No stripes! Pink and purple dots twinkled on his fur from nose to tail. He shook, but the dots stayed. 'Oh dear,' he said, 'this is really real!'

'What happened to me?' Timmy cried, spinning in circles. He raced to the river and saw his sparkly reflection. The dots glittered like tiny stars, and Timmy's whiskers drooped with worry.

'I need help,' Timmy sighed. He padded off to find his pals. First he met Gerry Giraffe, nibbling high leaves. Timmy called, 'Gerry, look at me! Do you know why I'm so spotty?'

Page 7

Gerry giggled, 'You look like a giant candy egg!' He almost dropped his snack. Timmy pouted, 'I don't want to be candy. I want my stripes back.' Gerry shrugged, unsure how to help.

Timmy next saw Lila Leopard sunning on a rock. She opened one eye and smiled. 'Lovely dots, Timmy! Very fancy.' Timmy groaned, 'Fancy isn't the same as me.' Lila sat up to listen.

'Tell me everything you ate,' Lila said kindly. Timmy thought hard. 'Mangoes, water—wait! I chewed a glowing fruit that fell near Rainbow Rock last night.'

Page 10

Lila clapped her paws. 'That was Glimmerfruit! Stories say it paints colors on whoever eats it, but only for one day.' Timmy's ears perked. 'So my stripes will come back tonight?'

Page 11

'Yes!' Lila laughed. 'While you sparkle, let's play!' Timmy's worries melted. He bounced with joy. Soon monkeys, birds, and bugs joined, eager to play with the rainbow tiger.

Page 12

They played jungle tag, swung on vines, and caught juicy mangoes in mid-air. Timmy's shiny spots flashed between leaves, making everyone giggle. He felt proud instead of shy.

Timmy realized friends liked him for his heart, not his fur. The dots were just colors. He roared happily, rolled in soft grass, and shared silly stories with everyone.

When the sun turned the sky orange and pink, Timmy peeked at his reflection again. The shiny dots faded. His bold black stripes crawled back across his orange coat.

Page 15

'Welcome back, stripes!' the animals cheered. Timmy smiled, 'That was the best topsy-turvy day.' Lila said, 'Surprises can be fun when friends are near.' Timmy nodded proudly.

From then on, Timmy never feared looking different. He even hoped the dots would return for more silly adventures. Moral: New changes can bring joy, courage, and wonderful friends.

Timmy gave his friends a big hug and walked home with a happy heart. The End.
