The Brave Little Mouse's Dussehra Adventure

A little mouse finds her courage during Dussehra and inspires her friends to be brave too.

In a quiet corner of the busy village, Mia the Mouse peeks out from her cozy home under the big banyan tree. 'I love my little home, but that field looks so big and scary!' she thinks.

At the edge of the big field, Mia sees the shadow of a barn owl. Her heart beats fast. 'Oh, that owl's shadow scares me!' she whispers.

Mia peeks from behind a tree. The village is so busy! 'What's happening today? I must find out!' she thinks, seeing the colorful decorations.

Mia sits with the children, listening to Grandpa Ray's story. 'Today is Dussehra,' he says. 'It's a festival celebrating courage and winning over challenges.'

Mia sits alone and looks at a picture of Rama. 'I wish I could be brave like Rama,' she whispers.

Under the bright moon, Mia whispers, 'Dussehra is about courage. Maybe tonight, I can be brave too.'

Feeling brave, Mia steps into the big field. 'Here I go! I can do this!' she says.

Mia sees the barn owl's shadow and feels scared. 'Oh no, should I go back?' she wonders.

Mia looks at the moon and remembers Grandpa Ray's words: 'Being brave doesn't mean you are not afraid. It means you face your fears.'

The owl swoops down, and Mia runs fast. 'Oh, that was close! I'm almost safe!' she says.

Mia reaches the barn and gathers some grains. She smiles. 'I did it! I was brave!' she cheers.

Back home, Mia tells her friends about her adventure. 'How did you do it?' they ask. 'I was inspired by Rama's story and Dussehra,' she says.

All the mice decide to celebrate Dussehra together. 'We are all brave, just like Rama!' Mia tells them.

The mice love Mia's story. 'Let's remember Mia's courage every Dussehra!' they cheer.
